Classes take place on Zoom, an online classroom platform. It allows both students and teachers to annotate, share screens and documents and even record the class. It can be downloaded for free and is free to use. Download link: https://zoom.us/support/download Prior to the class, a password will be sent to you by mail. You will need to enter that password for each class on Zoom. Once the class is about to start, please click on the link to enter the virtual classroom: bit.ly/FrancaisavecAmelie and enter the given password.

To follow an online class, it is preferable to have: - a good internet connection - a headset and a microphone (If you do not have one, earphones should be fine.)

Online bookings can be made on the Book Online page. Available times can be seen on the Online Calendar. There, you can pick a date and time of your choice. After sending the chosen day/times by mail, a confirmation and request for payment will be sent to you. The payment will secure the booking.

Depending on your level and the material used, we might use a PDF or a Google docs. We will use the chat to write or we might write directly in the Google document. I always like to start my classes with a short informal chat, such as asking how is your week going or how was your week-end. We will then correct your homework and go over any difficulties, if anything, before going through the course material for the day. Before ending the class, I will then give you some homework to do for the next class (which could be a text to read, a recording to listen to or/and grammar exercises). I do understand that it might be difficult for some students to do homework because of their busy schedule. If that is the case, then we might do everything we need to cover during the class.

This is a question I often get and which we will discuss together when customizing your learning program. This depends on the frequency of class taken as well as your objective. I may provide all material and working on my PDF may be enough. However if you plan to take classes 3 times a week or if you want to prepare for an exam, then buying a book may be necessary. in this case, I will advise you which one to buy.
